Mentos brought to the region their new gum, and they decided to create a campaign so unique as their product. The challenge was to make consumers understand that Mentos 3D is not just another chewing gum:  made of 3 different layers of flavors that when mixed brings extraordinary experience to the taste buds.

To emphasize on this idea, we created a competition with a simple mechanic, lots of prizes and the chance to see the best story become a real film in the end. It was tailor-made to spread fast on social media not only because it would increase the chances of winning prizes, but also because it would generate more unexpected ending for each story.

First, we created different first layers of stories with an intriguing hook to be continued. Visitors had to choose one of them to start participating.

To inspire our audience even more, we created different movie posters for each story.

After writing their second layer, they had to share with their friends using facebook or twitter. It means that each story continuation could have multiple endings.

We chose one best story to be part of the big final every week, and each writer got a GoPro 6 Hero.

Then, invited Saudi Reporters and Mahmoud Ramadan, two of the most famous influencers in the region to write their layers to one of our stories. We also created a video after it to show how crazy our consumers could go about it.
