Since 1937, Estrela has been part of every Brazilian childhood. It’s rare to find anyone who hasn’t played with their dolls, cars, board games, action figures, play dough, plush toys, or electronic games.
So, when Estrela launched a new digital platform in 2009, they sought a team to unlock this magical universe online—bringing kids the same joy they find in their toys.
The result? A groundbreaking experience. The site offered engagement tools before social media was mainstream, showcased products in action, and brought Estrela’s story to life in the digital world.

Christmas is a big date for the toy industry all over the world, and Brinquedos Estrela turned many children's dreams into reality: to have a live-chat with Santa Claus.
We developed a tool able to analyze the users' answers and react in real time, answering kids questions, asking them what they want for Christmas and encouraging them to be good boys and girls.
The animation of Santa Claus typing before a new message was received and reacting to some of the answers made the chat more realistic and engaging.
In the end, the conversation transcripts were shared with the children's parents so they could keep it as a souvenir or use it to help them pick the right Christmas present.
